Today was a legit Fashion Friday…….the Fabulous Full Figured edition!!! Today was the kick off party for the Dream Big Conference here in Chicago! Beautiful bloggers, influencers, and all around fashionistas gathered at the newly opened Eloquii store on Michigan Ave for an afternoon of cocktails, conversation, laughter and FASHION!!!

I didn’t realize until I left that I had ran my mouth so much that I barely had any photos of my time there!!!! BUT you can check out the ones I do have below!

My ensemble of choice for today was one of my own designs! Some may have already seen this top (I’m not ashamed to repeat outfits!) but it’s my off the shoulder grey, black and white African print top! I have a few of these tops in different patterns! It’s definitely a favorite! I played it safe and paired this top with some basic black jeggings, and some open toe black booties! Chicago treated us well today with the weather so I brought out the shoulders! Lately I haven’t had much inspiration for my hair so I decided to just throw it up in a puff and tie some extra fabric from my shirt and make a head wrap! And it turned out to be too cute!!! Later that evening I went to support local Chicago designers at the Bridgeport Art Center in their fashion show! The art that walked the runaway was breathtaking!!! Man!!! God bless the minds and hands of creative individuals!!! I was glad to see a few familiar faces both in the crowd and on the runway!!!
