Some how June and July snuck past us and here we are in the middle of August already! WHAT IS GOING ON?! It seems like the summer JUST started!!! I could go on and on about how I’m not ready to for the season to change but what good would that do? Instead, I’ll just embrace August and all that it has to offer.

So far in August I’ve seen a few weddings and white parties take place, numerous stores publicize back to school sales and attire, as well as fill the racks with fall inspired colors and clothes (and that is where I refuse to accept the change of season)! But back to weddings and parties……yes it’s August but it’s also still summer! There is still plenty of time and opportunity to rock bright, bold colors!

I found this super cute, classic, green, dress on Polyvore and matched it with a simple pair of pumps, a clutch, and basic jewelry. Personally, I’d wear my hair up in a bun and do more of a natural look on makeup with a pop of color on the lips to compliment the classic look.

This look is perfect for attending a wedding, a dinner, even church (just make sure you have something to cover your shoulders).
